Each Trivia Challenge has 5 questions randomly drawn from the pool of questions from the category you select.
Each correct answer is worth 100 points PLUS the difficulty factor for that particular question.
The percentage of incorrect answers is the difficulty factor for that question. Example: if a question has never been answered correctly it will have a difficulty factor of 100 if it has been answered incorrectly 40% of the time its difficulty factor would be 40.
Maximum points per question is 200 and Maximum points per Trivia Challenge is 1000. However it is impossible to get that high. Each Trivia Challenge has a different Maximum points possible.
FOR YOUR TOTAL SCORE ON A QUIZ we take your total points accumulated for all correct answers and SUBTRACT THE TIME IT TOOK YOU TO COMPLETE THE QUIZ to come up with your SCORE. Example - 1254 points - 88 (time it took in seconds to complete the quiz) = 1166.
The top scores for each Trivia Challenge Category will be posted on the TOP SCORERS HONOR ROLL. The top 10 for the day, the top 25 for the week and finally the top 50 for the month. TO QUALIFY FOR THE TOP SCORERS HONOR ROLL YOU MUST ENTER YOUR NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS.If you don't you may still play the trivia challenge but your scores will not qualify for the honor roll.
